Mateusz Hohol

Assistant professor at the Department of Logic and Cognitive Science at the Institute of Philosophy and Sociology of the Polish Academy of Sciences and a member of the Copernicus Center for Interdisciplinary Studies. Winner of the "Polityka" Scientific Award, Scholarship of the Minister of Science and Higher Education for outstanding young scientists, author and co-author of many scientific publications, including "Wyjaśnij umysł" and "Umysł matematyczny". His research focuses on mathematical cognition, i.e. how the mind deals with numbers and geometry. He implements the project of the National Science Center "Mechanisms of geometric cognition".
